JUST REALISE how incredible this series was… instead of watching someone prance round a house saying ‘I know’ in a silly voice, and then laughing as trees become the villains, and, because it’s the Christmas special, Daddy is ridiculously brought back to life. Rather than Amy and Rory getting married - which changes nothing - and discovering the incredibly irritating River to be Amy’s daughter, Series 1 has actual points of interest. The Bad Wolf message following them throughout time and space. The apparent impossibility of the return of the Daleks in the penultimate episode. Rose’s determination to get back to the Doctor when he sends her back to the present, the lovely moment when Mickey and Jackie help Rose open the heart of the TARDIS to do just that. I miss RTD. 

Moffat, you are an excellent writer. But give Who to someone else, and give Sherlock your undivided attention.
